RUBBER is very durable yet flexible. It provides a longer service life and can be used for heavy duty applications. It is also more expensive. Use rubber pads for grinding, heavier sanding, rust removal, and weld removal. Rubber pads are commonly used with abrasive discs that are 50 grit and lower.
