Optimizing Flap Disc Life With Variable Speed Grinder 

The right speed increases the service life of flap discs by up to 100%. The optimal speed for flap discs usage is between 5,000 and 8,000 rpm. The use of a powerful speed controlled angle grindler such as the Metabo WE14-125VS optimises grinding with flap discs and greatly extends disc life.
 
A typical 4-1/2" angle grinder runs at 11,000 rpm.  If you use flap discs we recommend purchasing the Metabo WE14-125VS and adjusting the speed to 7000 rpm in order to extend flap disc life and reduce your abrasive finishing costs.

Flex Burnisher - For achieving a Linear Grained Finish in Stainless Steel and Aluminum Surfaces.   
 
The Flex Burnisher is a multi-functional grinding and polishing system for flat surfaces and open or closed pipe constructions. It grinds from coarse to very fine finishes and burnishes to a high-gloss finish. It enhances stainless steel, steel and nonferrous metals including aluminum, brass, bronze and copper, as well as wood and rigid plastic.

Balanced straight-line handling, high torque and electronic speed control enable the Flex to easily produce matte, satin and other decorative surfaces up to a mirror finish. Besides fine finishing, the unit is ideal for coarse grinding to remove welds, deep scratches, oxidation, rust and paint.
